Game Preview

The Thunder had a 5-point lead coming into the fourth period. Yet, they were outscored in the final 12 minutes, 32-18. OKC lost the pace in the finish, allowing the home team to outrun them and break through high-octane offense.

Shai had 24 points, yet he had 6 turnovers, looking a bit out of control in situations where he wanted to draw a foul. Jalen Williams had a team-high 26 points and also added six boards, but he had 4 turnovers, too. Chet Holmgren added a double-double with 20 points and 10 boards.

Benedict Mathurin came off the bench to score 27 points for the Pacers in 22 minutes. He was 9-for-12 from the field. Pascal Siakam scored 21 points and had six boards and 4 assists, while Haliburton missed a triple-double for one board – 22 points, 11 assists, and 9 rebounds.

The Pacers’ bench outscored the rivals 49-18 and that was the key to a win here. No doubt about that. We also want to note that Indiana shot 51.8% from the field, despite going 9-for-27 from three-point range.

Thunder vs. Pacers Head to Head

The result in the series is 2-1 for the Pacers. The previous game saw Under points.

Thunder vs. Pacers Game 4 Predictions

It seems that the Pacers feel quite comfortable playing at home against the Thunder. The officiating was OK, and that might be the reason why Indiana didn’t have too many problems slowing down SGA, particularly in the final period. We won’t bet on the Pacers’ win here, but for them to defend a 6.5-point spread, which is a bit of an underestimation towards the hosts.
